Football Camp Testimonials

Hi Jen! Just wanted to drop a note and tell you how much our son, Easton, enjoyed the football camp. He is the youngest of 5 boys and we have attended MANY sports camps over the years, including several at the Clemson baseball camp. This was by far the BEST experience we have had! Everything was so organized and accessible and the staff was so friendly. We are long-time Clemson fans and have 2 sons attending the university at this time, but I overheard people around me comment about the campus and the staff, which made me proud to be a Tiger! Easton enjoyed every minute and has told me so many things he learned. He has even emailed and received a reply from one of his coaches. Thank-you so much as I know this kind of thing does not happen without capable people in the background doing a lot of work! Looking forward to attending again next year!

WOW!!! We were so amazed!

Ren, I brought 12 boys from my little league football team here in Lexington to Dabo football camp this weekend and I couldnt believe my eyes!
From the first moment, we were greeted with typical Clemson hospitality, however it was a little suprising to see Dabo himself along with the entire coaching staff doing the welcoming. I have coached and put on camps at various levels, but this was the best money I have ever spent on any camp EVER!

This was truly an experience that these boys (as well as the dads) will remember for the rest of their lives. Thank you for all of the behind the scenes work as I am well aware of how all of that works. Please pass on to all of the coaches that this camp truly left a mark in our hearts and minds for Clemson football and we wish you all the blessings that you so well deserve.

Stay Strong,
Chris Wooten

My name is Berry Still and my 10 year old son (Connor) attended Coach Swinney's youth camp this weekend along with several of his teammates from our Lexington Youth Football Team (Wolverines). I just wanted to say thank you and tell you how impressed we were with how the camp was run from check in to check out.

I graduated from Clemson, Dec. 90, and have been a tiger for all of my 42 years of life. I can honestly say I have never been prouder of that University than I was this weekend. All us fathers were blown away with the amount of time that Coach Swinney and his staff personally put into this camp. My 10 year son got individual coaching from Coach Steele, how incredible is that. Connor is a great kid and a good athlete but I do not know if he will ever play college football and really do not care. I am more concerned with making sure he becomes the best man he can be. Our head coach , Chris Wooten, has done a phenomenal job of teaching our boys to be their best both physically, mentally, and spiritually. Chris and I both commented that the positive life messages coming from Coach Swinney and all of the coaches gave credence to what all of us "nagging" fathers have been trying to teach our children for years. The consistent message of making correct choices, respect, hard work, diligence goal setting, and faith will resonant in my son's ears for a long time and for that I am very grateful. I saw Coach Davis, a gentlemen I idolized when I was growing up pull a young kid aside and mentor him on the values of education and being your best. I was amazed and it made me deeply proud of the people we have leading our university.

Again, I want to thank everyone from Coach Swinney to the young ladies giving out drinks at practice for the obvious hard work and most of all caring that was displayed at that camp.

Hey—I just wanted to write you a quick note to let you know how much we appreciated the football camp this past weekend. This was our son's first time attending the Clemson camp and he will definitely be back. You all did a great job! I have a background working with youth camps and know what it takes to pull off a successful camp. Please let everyone know how much we appreciate their work and commitment. Our son, Joel Cathcart, had a wonderful time and from a parent's perspective I could not have asked for a better atmosphere for our son to be in.

Thanks again and we look forward to being with you next year.
